Ingredients:
500 g Goat meat
6 onions long thin sliced
2 bay Leaves
6 pepper cons
oil
8 tbsp Yogurt / Half cup
2 tsp kasuri methi
3 finely chopped green chillies
5 roughly chopped garlic cloves
Freshly chopped coriander
Method:
1) Marinate the mutton overnight in red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt to taste, finely chopped green chillies, yogurt and kasuri methi.
2) Heat oil in a nonstick pan add bay leaves and pepper cons and saute for a while add the chopped garlic cloves and thinly sliced onions and fry them until golden brown.
3) add the marinated mutton and saute on high flame for about 10 to 15 mints.
4) add half cup of milk and mix well. do not add water. add more milk if need be. (this is a semi-dry dish so we do not need a lot of gravy)
5) cook the mutton on very low flame for about 1 hour. the mutton will be cooked to perfection on low flame. Check on the mutton only after 1 hour of cooking. do not frequently open the lid to check if its done.
6) Once its done sprinkle some freshly chopped coriander and server hot with Naan / Roti!!
